Susan Kemper and Andy Tolins are husband and wife who share a passion for traditional songs, favorite instruments, family stories, and a life with people who partake of the same.
The couple's repertoire includes Susan's favorite traditional and mountain folk tunes, country and standard ballads, and songs she learned from her Aunties. She also plays songs from Whistle, Daughter, Whistle, a musical program about women in American history. Susan sings and plays the guitar and open-backed banjo.
Andy is an award-winning guitarist, songwriter, and singer. He sings and plays his own songs and traditional fiddle tunes, bluegrass, bluegrass, blues, rock & roll, and swing music. He is a master of the guitar, and he also plays the mandolin and the dobro.
